Admissions Criteria
To be considered for admission, you must be at least 17 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED. If you do not have a High School Diploma or GED, you must take and pass the TABE test “Entrance Exam.” This basic test lets us know your skill and comfort levels in Reading Comprehension and Arithmetic.
How to Apply
To apply for enrollment in one of our programs, contact HVCT and schedule an appointment. You may call the Admissions Department between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at (845) 565-9217, or complete the form below.
You will need to fill out an application for admission, which you will need to bring to HVCT at the time of your scheduled appointment. At that time a personal interview will be set up with the Admissions Office. The interview and admission appointment process usually takes about an hour. During that time, various aspects of training, programs offered, tuition, financing, and enrollment conditions and requirements will be explained.
If qualified, and after filling out the necessary financial forms, applicants will be given a start date and forms will be provided to outline further details regarding the orientation sessions.
